eureka gendarmes
« on: May 15, 2014, 12:38:28 PM »
Hi everyone, I'm interested in buying the Eureka mininiatures gendarmes but I fear they are too small, do you think they can be mixed well with perry mounted men at arms?

I have the Eureka Gendarmes and the Perry 15th century plastic infantry and they fit together perfectly as they have the same proportions, scale and sculpting quality. I have a picture but cannot find a suitable free hosting site, does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks Emilio! Sorry for the photo quality it was done at night with my phone but I think you get the idea even if it doesn't show off my painting very well.  :)

The foot figures are Perry plastic, the knight on the left is Eureka and the knight on the right is a Perry metal HYW which is abit bigger than the Perry WOTR stuff.

Hope this helps Il Lord!

Yes, il really helps, thank you very much; the knight itself may go well, but i'm not very sure about the horse, seems too small.

Remember that the other mounted figure is a HYW metal figure and much larger than all the Perry Plastic stuff so it's a little bit deceiving. As is the knight with his warhammer thing who isn't standing parallel with the Gendarme. As a whole they are lovely figures and I think some of the horses are quite grand looking indeed.
