which hit the Pulp Figures homepage today with a BIG splash!!

Preliminary details here:

Every one sold will plant a breadfruit tree. Captain Bligh planted 700 trees and we all know how much effort that required. This should be much easier.

There will be a coconut bra version for those of you with mothers that check under your mattress for your copies of Spicy South Seas Tales.

I'll buy one of each. She goes topless when in ceremonial mode. Kong likes that. He goes bananas. :D

Question. How will the donation\s be certified to confirm eligibility for the figure\s?

It will be pretty simple. I'll provide a link to the breadfruit institute site where there is a donate button. The donation is a charitable tax deduction for Americans BTW. You just need to send me an email with a copy of the receipt attached and I'll include her with your order. I won't have to touch the money so it keeps everything simple and I won't be tempted to throw the money around in my local tavern. The breadfruit institute handles the trees and arranges for the plantings.

About 10-12k have been planted in Haiti already.

I'm Aussie, though with a cockney past,..so a mongrel of sorts on the nationality stage. ;) so no tax deduction for me ;-(  .. My previous orders of minis from you would have the Frankston address in your records. I got the free Foreign Legion mini last order. (See Link)

Having decided to have one of each, topless and covered, I now need to make a $20.00 donation to the tree fund and send you the details via e-mail which I will do by Tuesday 20th Oz time. Then it's a matter of waiting.

No probs, too easy.  ;)

Don't order just yet please. I've still got prep work and production moulds to make.

For a cause like that I would violate my standard PG rated miniatures guidelines.

Good cause, (no make that a very good cause!) it seems to me, start sculpting, please, before I suffer an attack of "some timers disease..."

Gracias,

I actually have a Hayes Code rule under most circumstances. Aside from the Neanderthal figs, that were sculpted before Pulp Figures became a company, I don't normally do overt nudity.  In this case though, I'm hoping to appeal to as large an audience as possible and there are some silent south-seas movies that give a precedence, however tenuous.

Which Hayes Code would that be Bob?

Gabby?

Isaac??

"Bullet Bob"?

or somebody else I'm unaware of?

Thanks for stayin' classy, tis a rare trait indeed these days.
The Breadfruit Queen is quite tasteful, and proper, not at all salacious.
Such moderation is it's own virtue, and reward.

Will we be seeing pictures of the Coconut Queen anytime soon? Is she also differently posed I hope?

I do appreciate that you sculpt "real" folks, a tifile Hollywood, but believably so.

Thanks again Bob!

I'd like to make a donation to that worthy cause and also own that lovely miniature.

Bob,
Could you let us know via this thread, when you're ready to take orders?

Like the other guys, I'll probably want one of each figure with my order, so will a $20 donation cover that?
