Just teasing; haven't had a chance to analyze, or really play, of late. Sad, really...

Still, looks like good stuff!

Just picked up a copy of Dracula with some interesting critique. I'd never realized that, when first published, Stoker was taken to task by critics for making 'too modern', too lacking in ancient 'charm'. I know I'd gotten the feeling from Coppola's movie, which has it's own flaws, but I'm becoming more impressed the more I read.

Not sure how one would add 'data collection and analysis' to IHMN, but food for thought. Not quite up to The Differential Engine, mind you...

Dear All

   Played a first game of IHMN Gothic earlier in the week. It went very well.

 A couple of queries I couldn't find the rules and points for Horror and Transform?

We played a Vampire quest where a NPC transformed in a werewolf by full moon.
Unfortunately for the undead one female Vampire bride was burnt to a cinder by a Brick Lane Bottle, Dracula was hit by Arc Rifle (we played it counted as flame weapon) and the Werewolf broke his teeth on a rifle butt - he rolled double 1.
Great fun was had by all. Many thanks to Craig + Charles.

Was just re-viewing PBS' docu on Nikola Tesla; always bit disappointed in nothing about the pigeon. This should be GOOD!

Edit: And I've just found the reason for Sir Randall's mysterious Colonel Pasha's and faithful First Sargent's weaponry. I must only assume they were somehow involved with the brothers 'visit' to Ottoman Empire, though whether as help or hindrance, one can not say...
