+++EDIT+++But then your scale is a bit off for 15mm I think. According to Sarna.net, the Warhammer should measure somewhere between 10 and 11 meters. And since 15mm / 1/100 is such an easy conversion scale, that should translate to roughly 10cm. Yours is probably close to 17cm, if I'm not mistaken.
Just using what I can get. The Battletech stuff is all over the place anyway so it won't make me feel guilty.

For a lance or two per side, consider "Mech Attack" by armorgrid games. It's got lots of BT'ish elements (damage grid, variable weapons, heat, combined arms, vehicle design, etc) in a package that plays in about 1/4 the time.

We've used it for 28mm and 10mm mech games with much success.  Also, it's cheap.

Downloaded, I'll see how it plays

lol

It fits, with a fair bit of lubrication I'd say...  :D

The BT Longbow weighs in at 85T and measures 14m. The 1/100 scale kit is around 12cm, so it only needs a little biggerizing to match the fluff and my sad and rigid adherence to it.

I suppose your 1/200 will measure around 6cm then...  :)

+++EDIT+++ Doh  :o ; I just realized that you were talking about the Monster (aka Stone Rhino / Behemoth)) and not the Longbow. My bad...

The Behemoth would measure about 15m tall, or 15cm in 15mm scale...

+++Re-EDIT+++ Eilif down there beat me to my mistake. Dang Android phone peculiarities annoyed the heck out of me while replying, so I had to wait to retype it on a proper PC...  ::)

You guys might be a bit off unfortunately.  Are you taking about this kit?

Though technically 1/200, in Macross, it's a HUGE vehicle that actually scales well with 28mm mechs and is over 6 inches tall!. It's bigger than any battlemech in 15mm.
This guy built one:
http://wpggamegeeks.blogspot.com/2010/11/futurkom.html
and it looks like this next to 28mm figs

ALso, it doesn't look anything like a longbow.

Sorry to be a Debbie downer on this one.  It is a really cool mech. If you were set on 15mm, shoot me a PM I may have something to trade. I've acquired various mechs over the years, some which turned out to be a bit smaller than my 28mm uses and might work for you.

I've actually got one of these Monsters that I'm planning to do up for 28mm gaming. I'm going to loose the shoulder cannons and put small missile pods or radar arays in their mounting spots, resulting in sort of a cross between a Maurader and a rifleman.

So Behemoth/Rhino then!

I've got an Archer (1/72) winging its way to me at the moment. The mech I'd like to track down is a 1/72 Crab gunner. They don't seem to show up on ebay very often

(Actually, I'd like to find one in 1/48, 15mm is for the table top, I have 28mm for the garden at some point in the future!)

A 1/72 archer is also going to be sized closer to 28mm.  I've got one of those as well waiting for assembly and it's not quite 28mm, but it's closer. The 1/100 scale model should be pretty close to 15mm. Still, as you say, they'd look great in the garden!

Steders; if you like, I can give you a contact in Japan. He tracked down mech kits for me over there (on local auction sites and stores) which would otherwise have passed me by due to language challenges (i.e. I don't speak Japanese ::) ). He charges a pretty low percentage as broker's fee, but overall, the prices are excellent. PM me if you're interested...

The Monster would fit as the original Behemoth --- though it'll be small in comparison to your other mechs.

^Works as the Behemoth perfectly...but the scale will be off.
