Nice bastion Iain.
Or is that a ravelin?
I've forgotten my Vauban fortifications...  ::)
Look forward to seeing it painted.

I made something along similar lines a few years ago

Im sure it's a Gun bastion. It's the Paul Model workshop one. Great price for something that is alot of resin. I got his windmill too which i paid for him to paint.

It's David and I who are doing this game. I do try and get up to Leven to get a game now and then. I will be going very soon for a run through of this game. Also the Edinburgh club is a half way point for us that i need to use more.

Ah, I sort of half guessed that David might be involved!  :)

Yeah, SESWC is a great club and is really worth going to. I've noticed after talking to a few of the guys that they're not frequenting the club as much as they might do but I think that's down to the logistics of getting there as they still all seem to be heartily enjoying their hobby and playing some really lovely looking games.

to tell you the truth, I wish that we'd never moved from Edinburgh, not that there's anything wrong with the Durham club, which is in fact excellent, but rather that I miss Edinburgh full stop.

Anyway, back OT. Keep up the excellent brushwork and I'll hopefully see you game at some point.

Darrell.

Manchesters and Yesters Regiment complete. 4 more bases and Fairfax Regiment will be complete.

The future aim is to upgare the Manchesters Regiment to 24 bases(96 figures) excluding command to form a Large Double sized Regiment like they had at Marston Moor.

The size of Yesters Regiment will be the standard size of Regiments we will play with. That's 12 bases of 4 to a Regiment.

It will look great once all done. Just need the bloody Royalists to take pics of their army now.
