ronin: combat phase question
« on: 26 May 2014, 10:03:15 AM »
Dear all,

Just need to clarify the combat phase:
Combat pool is only used to enhancing the attack defense or initiative roll ?

If one guy decide to defend but it has no combat pool token available, can he rolls 1D6 + Fight characteristic + armor ? or just Fight characteristic + armor.  If this case, why use a CP token in defense except to enhancing ?

Thx !

Yep, as far as I understand, if you are the defender, you just use it to enhance your roll by 1D6.
It's a bit different if you want to attack, because you have to spend a first token to do so, and a second one to enhance this roll.

As I recall, the first defend is free.

Two more questions:

During the combat phase, you split your attack and defense tokens from your combat pool.
Next, you have the initiative and you have the possibility to enhance your score to add one D6 and keep the highest for one token.
Which one do you use, attack or defense ?

If one guy fight vs 2 in multiple combat, can you only focus your attack on one enemy or you must split ?

Thx !
