Lovely job on the marine, and I could just see the Arab chap leading some of my Gorchurra in the Punjab.

Dammit Sir!!

That is splendid work on a great miniature!!

I'd considered painting him up meself for this foray, you make it look easy!

He's a busy sculpt with bags of detail and loads of character, you captured everything quite well.

Thank you for the inspiration.

Valerik

For quite some time now I've been contemplating making a decision to try and attempt doing things more quickly, and in a timely fashion, circumstances permitting, when possible, or convenient.

Thanks chaps.

After the speed-painting that is the LPL I slowed down to my normal painting pace.  Not a great photo though.  Think my camera must be on the blink.   :?  Noticed definite "variable" quality with my LPL entries.

Just finished 24 African tribal warriors last weekend, but I didn't take any single pics of them and then I noticed this... oh bugger... maybe on the next batch...

Is it a conversion or an actual mini mate?

Sorry about the size, can't figure out how to resize in Photobucket.

It's not a problem, Herby, but if you want me to I can edit a smaller version into your post.

Interestingly, I have that very same figure half-done on the painting desk, and he was going to go in the expedition. That's awkward, like two women showing up at a party in the same dress.  :)

He's had a fair bit of conversion work so he looks a bit different to yours, though, so I think I might risk the fashion faux pas. See how it goes.
