Hurrah! Bibbles is on board. He's bound to have brought noodles, so we can have zebra chow mein tonight, lads!  :)

Nice one. Perry Miniatures? Looks like their work.

Wonderful entries. Masai, Watuta, Maharaja, officer, others I forgot to mention are all great :)

No. 70 Zulu Warrior

Mini is plastic warlord. I don't usually game Colonial so please excuse any errors in colors, etc. This expedition was an excuse to dig this mini out along with the 7 others I've had sitting around for ages waiting paint. So last night I stuck Zulu in the DVD player and the rest is history. I guess Zulus are like chip's, you can't do just one. The rest of the mob will be posted over on Pulp as that's what I'll be using them for.

The other entries are  :o
Very inspirational, thanks for having this expedition.

Very inspirational, thanks for having this expedition.

Glad to have you along. He looks great. Do you like those Warlord plastics? I got some, and I'm really trying hard to overcome my intense dislike of that substance and get some done, so far without success. Having seen a few painted up now I think they are quite nice figures, it's just I really don't like all the fiddly farting around that working with plastic involves, having to glue on arms and heads and wotnot, and then fill up any gaps, etc. Unlike most people, I don't find plastic easier to work with than metal, very much the reverse.

....Do you like those Warlord plastics? I....

They are easy to put together and look they part. Their spears do seem to be a bit fiddly and I've already broke one.
But as I only have 8 of them I can hopefully make sure they dont get roughed up to bad whilst gaming.

More lovely stuff chaps! I am about one evening away from having a second entry ready - the incredibly high standard thus far has prompted me to pull out my now largely retired (due to increasingly dodgy eyesight) layered painting technique in a feeble attempt to match everybody else's excellence :)

I have to say that this expedition has done something that nothing in the past year really has and that's to begin to return my painting mojo to me. For that, I am incredibly grateful, so many thanks to everyone!
