Added reinforcements

Jump Jet Light Infantry Platoon (wannabe) currently "minus" detachments/missing figures...  

Dozing Dragon is very kindly promised o send me some singles but I am always scouring Ebay and other sources for more of these.  "Recruiting" continues...

Infantry, advancing w/Megawatt Laser times 9 currently    

GG-03
Infantry, prone, w/semi portable laser times 3 currently      

GG-05
Infantry, w/automatic grenade launcher times 3 currently    

Used as 2 x"line squad" format in a 4:1:1 ratio - another "Line Squad" would give me a strong base of the Platoon. Three more squads would give me a pentomic formation or two more squads would give me A rectangular platoon, either of which I could happily deploy on the table supported by the following.

Infantry, standing w/automatic missile launcher times 7 currently  

Used as 3 2-man Heavy Weapon Sections (forming a "Missillier Squad")

Currently total is 22 (1/3 AAM/ATM/DP HE missile weapons)

Serious obstacles are handled by the Heavy Infantry/Jump Jet Squad:

Power Armor Infantry, standing w/sun gun times 3  

GG-11

Power Armor Infantry, prone, w/sun gun times 3  

One more of each would give me  "full strength" squad.   achieved!    

Specialists:

Crewman, standing w/laser pistol x 2 Used as HQ staff/specialist.  

GG-20
Mercenary, standing w/assault rifle x 2 plus 1 in mail used as HQ staff/security/dismounted Vehicle crew  

GG-23
Mercenary, advancing w/grenade launcher X 1 used as HQ staff/security/dismounted Vehicle  

I have some "transport" vehicles the HQ/Staff/Security ride in so they can support the Jump Jet guys from the table edge if needed.

Those guys oppose the "swamp thing looking" (my description) aliens from http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Image:G-ss-catalogue1978pic.jpg and the Stan Johansen Blard/Rauwoof/Whistlers.

Not really but thanks.  For the day those were very nice figures.

I used to use the GG-40 as  an alien contract medic/physician because the "weapon' looked like a medical scanner to me but I pretty much want to focus on the Humans jet pack/jump jet types as listed above.

Converting to 15/18 mm.

GG for SF Skirmish is one of those sets I doubt I will be able to convert to that scale/size any more than the FGU Space Marine Rauwoof/Blarad/Whistlers by Stan Johansen (now OOP) at this time.  Ditto for Soldados de Cuera or Presidials  unless a financial miracle allows me to have them made in 15/18 mm.
