I'm planning to recruit crew for my french corsair .
there are very few ( no?) generic sailors for this period .
I know the brigade games french sailors , but 'm looking for more figs ...
any idea ?

Dans les situations critiques, quand on parle avec un calibre bien en pogne, personne ne conteste plus. Y'a des statistiques là-dessus.

Newline Designs have some 28mm Napoleonic sailors, both British and French:

The Good Captain Blood has I believe converted and painted some of the British crew here:

Yes, they are quite old school.
Some of the gunners are okay with a bit of modification. I agree the boarders aren't very good. Strange poses...  ::)

Hello all

Here are some newline designs brittish sailors and royal marines.
Hope they are usefull.
You also have sailors from Foundry and a range for the french revolution (i dont know if its still available).
Do check Front Rank for their spanish guerrillas and spanish regular troops. You might get some usefull miniatures there.

Cheers

Rui
