Bit late to jump on board, hadn't noticed this one earlier.

Great conversions Rui, keep them coming!  8)

I also use Vallejo pumice for texture on walls but also for bases sometimes. Black pumice, which I recall being somewhat rougher/coarser I have used for tarmac etc.

Great looking buildings by the way.

Hello all

Many thanks for the comments.
Beware though, white or black pumice on modelling card can shrink or bent it so cover small areas at the time so that it wont happens.
In mdf (a much harder surface) it works very nice.

Cheers

Hello all

Antti, if i would be a moderated guy i would be happy with just 2 or 3 buildings but no. I had to do a complete vilage. o_o
Now how will i get space to put it? ;D

I´m also thinking on using it for romans if its not forcing too much but i dont know how i will paint the buildings.
White?
A kind of buff or sand?

Opinions are welcome.

Cheers

Rui

I would think weathered white would be good for several periods?

I love building terrain but alas, not too much space left to store anything too big so I must built slowly :)

Nice touch with the white pumice. It appears to be the ideal material for stucco. Very nice work on your figures and terrain.

I use Coarse Pumice Gel by Golden mixed with green acrylic paint to base my figures and artillery bases. It is so much better than flocking etc. as bits do not fall off and it doesn't crack....so far.

Hello all

IronDuke, a pic of your base would be nice to see so that others could see the effect. Its a great idea.
Feel free to put in my thread if you wish.

Cheers

Hi Rui,
OK I will try to add some photos that I just took with a not so great camera.
I have not imported photos before, so here goes;

Rui, thanks and yes they are Front Rank. The photo does not do the basing justice. I tried to add more photos but no success.

I really like FR figures but in this case I wish they didn't have the gunners with packs. It is very unlikely that crews would have served their guns with packs on, even in a hurry they would have discarded them quickly.
