Sci-Fi Small Detailing Kit
« on: 07 June 2014, 01:04:01 AM »
The other weekend I made a sci-fi detailing kit, http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=67321.0 , with an eye to making buildings a lot quicker to make. Just make a basic box and clad it with those pieces.

I sold a few and a couple of folk asked about smaller details, mainly for inmteriors so I've had a bash. This is were digital photography becomes a pain in the arse, as I was happy with these until I saw the photo at twice the size of the models and those delicately placed 1mm buttons suddenly look so imprecise.  :?

I've sealed them with undercoat to help them survive the mould making process.

Anyway into the rubber and I'll see what's what tomorrow - fingers crossed.  ???

And the first cast, all worked bar the buttons on the screen/keyboard bit. A fiddly pour but with a little more attention those buttons will work.
