A Game of Thrones: Second edition review and comparison
« on: June 23, 2014, 04:45:51 PM »
Having played the Game of Thrones: Second edition a couple of times (after swearing I would not touch the game ever again in the First Edition) I took the time to write down my thoughts about all the positive changes to the game that I now think is now much more playable and enjoyable. Several big and small additions and changes have been made to the core game that simply makes it more balanced where it needed be, more unpredictable where it was called for and more reliable where needed.

The post starts with a long entry on the changes and a comparison between editions, at the bottom (last 1/4 of the post) is a summary review of the game and what it is about for those that are not familiar with the Game of Thrones boardgame at all.

Check it out on my blog here:

I've seen this played at my local game night.  It looks like a game that was really able to tie its theme in.  I'd like to give it a try sometime.
