28mm Zulu Regiment iNdluyengwe.
« on: June 29, 2014, 11:42:33 PM »
Hi Chaps
Completed my first Impi. All Black Tree Designs, which have been a revelation to me. Wonderful miniatures. I cracked these guys out in the evenings over about four days. Not too bad despite that  :)  BTD are having postage free day - may be time to order some more of these chaps.

More pics over at the blog.

Cheers
Brian

There are some more over at the blog. These guys are not the paint jobs that I would enter in the painting contest for individual figures.

An impressive turn of speed nonetheless, and they look the business all together as a unit. Certainly makes up for any shortcomings due to speed on the individual figures.

Four days! Would take me about four months to do that many figures.  lol

Oh, stunning work!  Well done.

That's one thing about my Maori warriors - no impressive shields.

Maybe we should try a Zulu vs Maori battle sometime!!!

You know - that would be kind of cool. Just painting some Zulu riflemen at the moment as well. We could do a skirmish game.

Very fine painting.
Many of BTM are some what under rated.
But you have to watch what you buy, some are not so good.
