The start of a Japanese Building
« on: 07 July 2014, 07:07:01 PM »
Hello everyone!

Recently i've been intrigued by japanese buildings, and now a recent commission convinced me to build some details for japanese buildings. The overall building will be a palace-temple, but a good portion of it will be composed of resin bits i'm sculpting right now!

that's the overall project (well, more or less) that i drawn on sketchup to have an idea:

For now, i'm working on the roofing:

the rest of the building will be mainly composed of balsa bits and some foamboard. For the windows i will use my own technique, as described in the tutorial:

Stay tuned for further updates!

Cheers
Jack
