All ten of them together.....Seated Wagon Drivers. (12/08)
« Reply #135 on: 12 August 2014, 10:55:44 AM »
I am trying to take a group shot of all ten, but am having difficulty getting the damn picture-taking thing to focus on all of them.
I shall post my best 'attempt' tomorrow....
 ;)

Here is my best attempt....all ten of the seated figures as a set.

I just need to remove them from their corks and smooth the 'hidden' sides ready for the mould.
Fingers crossed nothing goes horribly wrong at this stage....

Cheers, Rui.
Your support all the way through this process has been most encouraging.
 :D

Progress report: They all survived being removed from the corks, except for the Undertaker, who lost his head.
 :o :o

Not a problem as I will just reattach it more securely this time.
 ;)

Just got to clean up the 'flat' sides and then they can be sent away for casting.
 :D

Tomorrow will be the last time for making an order as they will be sent away on Thursday.

These are everything a Dead Mans Hand player could ask for in seated figures.  I sent a PM but thought I would ask to be put down for a set here as well, just to get my first post out of the way.

Cheers

You would be shocked if I told you that I was doing them in 15mm too, wouldn't you?
I am not, so stay comfortable.

Got all the 'backsides' filled in so they can be cast up.
I thought I would get them all sat down for a couple of pics before they get left to the tender mercies of the Royal Mail!

These went off to the Post Office to begin their journey to Griffin today.
Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly.

They are out of my hands now.

It's cracking work Mason!!! I will earmark the dosh by the 26th to be sent to you as soon as you are ready. I can already see these little people driving my wagons, laughing and drinking in the saloon or maybe just resting for a while in the setting sun on the porch...

For the next lot (if there ever will be one) maybe a grandpa with a pipe, a chuckwagon cook (could double as a tradesman) and of course a sleepy peon!!!  :D

Well done indeed sir!!!

Thank you very much, sir.
I really enjoyed making them, as the fact that they were all done in a month or so should testify.
 :D

I know that they reached Griffin today, so it is down to them now.
As soon as I get them back I will let you know on this thread and they will be put up for sale, with those on the 'list' getting first refusal.
 ;)

I doubt that I will be doing any more for a while as there is already plenty of things in the pipeline.

I have almost finished the figures for the next mould (Pulp/VBCW stuff) and they will probably be sent off for casting before I get the Wagon Drivers back.

I have plenty more to work on, some of which I have even started prepping, but I may feel the need to do more of these, ya never know.
 ;)
