So, all is very quiet today.....

I have a theory (not exactly ground breaking)..... it's club night for most of us, yeah?

Yup, I started up a second RPG/wargaming club at my place among my friends.

Thursdays is the "real" one with the other full-on gamers.

It's rugby training night (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for me, so the day is spent crying and wondering why I would do something so stupid to my poor old body.

You are far too old for such things. Coaching is what you should be doing.

Good on you mate. I know it's not as demanding physically but I still play Cricket at the age of 46.

Every other Thursday for us.  We have talked about doing every week, but it has not happened.  We have also had our every other week meeting on other days too, but it has mostly been Thursday.

I love running about with a rugby ball though. It's pitiful really, with me wheezing and stumbling around, my brain yelling "SPRINT!!" at my legs, knowing they are hearing a gentle "Jog", but I do love it. I'm not ready for the pipe and slippers just yet.

Interesting bit today was that a young blonde girl was topless sunbathing in the park near where we were training (face down, but even so ... a public park at 6pm?). It was amazing how many blokes all decided they needed to play down that wing.

My eyes are so bad I could barely see the poor girl. And besides, I wouldn't know what to do with anything that didn't have love handles and cellulite (he says, hoping the missus never checks what I write on here).
