I like all of Onslaught's stuff TBH, even the Sectnids.

The new Sisterhood APC is perfectly nice too - you're probably only vacillating because you've been conditioned into "knowing" what a Rhino "should" look like for so long that when one doesn't, it just seems odd to you! B)

Im pretty sure he said he liked the sisterhood Juno, but wasnt too keen on the infantry....

Im a massive fan of Onslaught, I like all their stuff, its different but usable for many armies, not only as proxies for epic, I wonder if there are any lists for FWC knocking about...?

Aye. :) The latter aren't bad, but there's a slight 'anime' styling to them and others that might take a while to grow on me.

I'm not so married to GW's style, tho! I once took to converting their ogres because I didn't like the flabby mongol look, among other things. I admit there's a bit of adherence to the Mk III rhino, but mostly because I think the Mk I is a bit rubbish (not great when you can get bagfuls of the latter on ebay for a pittance, but the former are like hen's teeth, and priced accordingly!) and other 6mm alternatives didn't grab me - until the Onslaught Juno.

Sorry for the hijack, Yorkie! Looking forward to any additions you make here. Also, how hassle-free was the order? Shipping from the States not too bad?

No problem :)

I ordered them from the UK stockist, steel crown productions. Although im in Cyprus Im in the forces so use my BFPO postal address, so its the same as being in the UK :D....Except its free... 8)

I have to disagree though, the Mk 1 Rhino is a classic, whereas the most recent one, (in epic scale) was indeed a terribly cast model, it was a real effort just to get the mold lines off!

Anyway... More OTC / Tau proxies soon.

Looking good.  ;D. I've been tempted to build a small Tau fore for FWC for a while now; I may just have to take the plunge.

Funny you should ask that Steve; my mate (and main FWC opponent) bought a load of Onslaught Sisters a week ago and spent last Thursday evening, our club night, on the club PC devising a Sisters list for FWC. Next time I see him, I'll ask him how it's progressing.

Interesting, is he going to send it to Pete over at specialist mil publishing? It would be nice to have all these new armies on the battleforce creator thingy... :D

If you mean the Tau, then there is a list for them in FWC IIRC. If you meant the Sisterhood, then I don't think so (although I suppose you could use the suitable parts of the Marine list instead).

Great work here, I really like these little guys.  The colour scheme works very nicely too.  I have special affection for 6mm and seeing the newer 40K races represented appeals a lot.

Im definitely in the later camp when it comes to broadside design.  The top heavy shoulder mounted weapons may have been more realistic (maybe...) but the arm mounted rail weapons appeal to me far more.

I could very easily spend a fortune on that site.  I reckon that the sisters look fantastic.

Hi,

No I meant an army list for the OTC in their own right, as opposed to just using them as proxies for something else. I have seen the "not Tau list" on the FWC battleforce creator.

I think all the new ranges should be supported as opposed to just trying to shoehorn stuff into other lists, especially as Grandma Wendy doesnt support the 6mm wargaming crowd anymore.

Thanks, I could quite easily spend a small fortune on the Onslaught stuff too. :)

Those are some excellent PJs, best 6mm stuff I think I have seen in awhile, the contrast with the Red and white is excellent.

Nice minis too!
