Now those are cool.  Very nice conversions.

These are some of the most inspiring original real Sci Fi conversions I have seen in a long time, please keep up the vibe and the great ideas.

They are starting to give me a Tusken Raider type vibe.

 Great work on them.

How many more are on the bench?

Thanks folks!

How many more are on the bench?

I've built another 5 which are ready for paint, and have plans for another couple on top :)

Catching up on a few things that I've painted over the last week or so!

First up is a Rogue Trader robot that I've painted to fit with my deep space salvage crew:

I also painted up a RT ambull that I intend to use as a porigota for Stargrave (as well as an ambull in RT!):

Finally, it's another one of those buildings made from old Necromunda bulkheads. This time it's a mech's workshop (centre of the pic below):

As ever, more words and pics over at my blog.

As ever, some lovely work there.  Funnily enough, I'm eyeing up my new-style ambull (currently sat near the top of my painting queue) as a porigota.

Great new additions to your collection. Is that the old Familiar figure you have converted for the Space Salvage crew?

Love the new building too.You must have quite a large terrain collection now.Just wondering how you store it all.

Thanks everyone, glad you like them! Ghengis - I wish I'd picked up the big new ambull. It's a nice figure and now sadly pretty unobtainable!

How do you do your bases Axiom ?

I use a coarse railway modellers ballast that I glue on with PVA. I then seal it with watered down PVA. For bases with more space, I glue on little chunks of a cork placemat as rocks. I paint the whole base with a mid grey-green (Coat d'arms Field Grey), then give it a black wash and a drybrush with a light grey. Finally I add some little clumps of static grass or tufts. It's actually a very quick and simple process :)

It is indeed a converted familiar! I couldn't resist :)

All of my terrain is stored in Really Useful Boxes - I have some 9l ones in my hobby space for smaller easy access stuff, and some bigger ones that go in the loft!

Another catch up post with some beasties I've painted up for Stargrave (Reaper giant leeches and burrowing horror):

But more excitingly, I got round to repainting my Rogue Trader piscean warrior that I stripped about 7 years ago!
