Another building to add to the frontier town! This time it's a large (now OOP?) Iron House by JR Miniatures, which I've painted up as a general store:

@Mason the 'lived-in' look is just the best way to get these painted quickly with plenty of visual interest. It's much easier to throw some washes, streaks and stippling on than having to paint them properly

These look great. Love the reference to Hyams! I was reminded of him just recently by one of the Colony 87 wave 4 teasers. Incidentally, did you ever find out any more about the novel that never was?

Ha! Really pleased someone got the Hyams reference Raedwald! I'm afraid I have no further information other than what Tony Hough was able to dig out of his memory!

Another building to match the previous three - also built by Grimsforge and painted by me. I did add the sign and lights to turn it into a really questionable-looking place to stay for a night!
