Thanks everyone. Glad you like the glasses Freddy - a nice little cyberpunk element on a couple of the sculpts.

I'm steadily working on a complete Confrontation collection (not just the techs). It might be 6 months away before I get there, but it's definitely my ambition!

Great stuff. The Copplestone techs must be my favorite miniatures of the period.

A fun model today - the event miniature from Bring Out Your Lead in August this year. It's a two-piece cast, sculpted by Tim Prow:

He looks just right with some of my other navigators!

Nice work again 8)

Did he come with the eye pendant and the bandana, or were those your own additions?

+++EDIT+++ Never mind; I just read your blog and all has become clear... :D

He does fit in quite nicely indeed; navigarors are a weird bunch...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I've missed the last couple of updates - more lovely work as always.  I like your caryatids, especially the converted one (I finally got around to my C87 one earlier this year - a fun little character to paint).  That Navigator is very cool - suitably weird, although not as unsettling as his standing compadre with the pistol.

Nice pj, but your Tanglebones conversion steals the show.

The tech gang are ace, the yellow/orange visors really set them off, well played.

Thanks all! I'm hugely fond of Tanglebones and his scifi makeover. Such a lovely sculpt and it was great to modify him for RT.

...not as unsettling as his standing compadre with the pistol.

Well, he IS going about without his forehead covered, so don't look him in the eye...  o_o

Confrontation figures continue to be the big uber-project that I keep coming back to. This latest group are hive gangers, popularly referred to as 'Dogskins' for obvious reasons. I've got some more of these coming :)

This whole thread has been great.  Not just the paint but the selection and variety of models.

Those dogskins look great and not over the top like the later necromunda ratskins .

Very nice 8)

I've never known much about Confrontation, as that was just before my time in the hobby, but these seem to me to be the precursors to the Necromunda Ratskins?
