This thread makes me jealous. I love everything in it, particularly House Ulanti!

Wow! I like that figure and the others! I don't grok why they never released them to begin with, especially as most appear in the game play example photos in the original WH40KRT book.

You really captured the vibe of the GrimDark WH40KRT canon in that figure. Excellent. 8)

I'm not sure why they weren't ever released, seeing as RT figures were a huge free-for-all of releasing anything and everything to flesh out the range!

My latest model has come out of a group project on one of the Facebook groups I'm a member of. Essentially the challenge was to adapt the Elven Mordheim Hired Sword, Aenur, to a sci-fi setting.

My resulting conversion is Tech Priest Ay-Nor, converted with the addition of ghoul legs and various Mechanicus parts. I hope you like him!

Here's a comparison between the original and final figures:

Incredibly awesome solution, I wouldn't have traced the original mini if you hadn't said which one was it! :o

Some heavy conversion work there (I know how chucky that miniature deceptively is). Well done.

Less than you might think - the resin is pretty flexible. You can also heat in hot water and pose, which is a very useful thing!

Latest off the painting table is this fella - a cracking Spacelords starship crewman (available from Doug's new Moonraker website). I've tried to paint him up as a grizzled 'been there, seen it' type!

In practical terms, he's been painted to go along with the pilot from the same set, by using the same colours (albeit in different quantities!).

Lovely work, mate.

That is another great sculpt from the Spacelords range.
I have that set and hope to get around to painting them myself some day.
I know where to come for inspiration.

Thanks guys. He was a lot of fun to paint - the face is so expressive in spite of being half covered by the glasses and hat.

Haha, he's clearly seen some galaxy, you're right, his expression says it all. Good job!
