Love that group shot too.

I have Irn Bonce put aside to add to my own mining group when I get around to finishing it.
Great minds, etc....

What with holidays getting in the way, my hobby time has been a bit limited over the last few weeks, but I have done a bit of preparation for a new Necromunda campaign starting in Sept. It will see my Brats masquerading as an Escher gang. I realised I needed a few more rifles, so have painted up a new pair of lasgunners and a shotgunner:

They're venerable builds - I made the figures back in 2013, but hadn't got round to painting them. They more than fit the bill though and are ready to join with the rest of the pack!

Good to see you back on the Brats.
It was your Brats at the start of the thread that got me hooked in the first place.

Some more lovely work as ever.  Looking at the chap on the left's puffy sleeves & cuirass has got me thinking that maybe I could do something interesting with the free sprue of Landsknecht Armoured Pikemen I got with this month's Wargames Illustrated.

Thanks all!

@Genghis - I reckon Landsknecht figures are ripe for conversion into something approaching Brat territory. I suspect the key will be to do enough so that they're not just historical figures with guns...unless that's the look you want of course!

That's the key, taking just enough historical figure and blending it into something 40K.  Unfortunately, my flashes of inspiration are somewhat few and far between.  I'll have a play at some point though and see what looks like it will work.

So let's say you need some big floating one-eyed balls of tentacles that may or may not be able to exert mind control over humans - what do you use?

Well, you might be given a pre-production copy of the Cortex Eater from Crooked Dice (left), or you might know a guy who had a fan-sculpt made (right). That's what happened to me and what I've just painted up!
