As much as I hate seeing classic figures (especially ones I am after) being chopped up, those are great conversions and paint jobs.

@Dr Mathias - I can't claim I thought up the idea, but I think I am the first to put spindle drone heads on classic Citadel figures with jezzails Glad you like the blog - I always find it really interesting to get an insight into other people's processes too.

Staying with the arid wasteland theme, I've painted up a wasteland trader. This figure has sat unpainted for over 5 years, so I'm pleased to have got round to finishing it! The trader is a converted Otherworld NPC, and the pack-beast is a Rogue Trader space marine riding lizard with loads of baggage added.





He works nicely with my other trader types:
