Many nations supported Greece in their struggle for Independence,  through various Greek societies.
The green reprsents one of a number of Polish volunteers......
By the time of  Peta many of the initial volunteers were reduced to rags and wore a combination  of items of clothing, giving an often colourful look to a battlefield.

sorry a small correction:
not many NATIONS supported Greece ....
It is real that lots of foreign volunteers joined the GWI mostly napoleonic wars veterans and liberals sympathising the cause.
many offered their lives ...

Initially the states were against the Greek revolution which threatens to alter the status quo (damn Holy alliance), but due to the efforts of various Philhellenic committees around Europe and US helped to change this situation.
BTW the First nation (and only) that recognised Greek revolutionary government was HAITI a republic at that time. They send a small amount of Money and organised a small volunteer corps of 600 men to join in. Sadly they didn't make even to Europe and their fate is still uncovered.

Notable philhellenes included were Lord Byron and Alexander Pushkin to name only a couple.

However a nice addition to your range ...

I stand corrected lol, the next Philhellenes that we will do will be loosely based on the fig furthest to the left of the group pic and the one wearing the exagerated grestcoat, this fig will be portraying a man of German extraction.
The above pic is in the Benaki Museum in Athens.
