Early war did not started in trenches, so there should be some greenery on the bases?

Well, I'm sure in 1915 there where some muddy spots at the Western Front.
But basically it's just matching the bases of the first batch.

In the meantime I've run out of my Khaki mixture and looking for alternatives I've come across an unopened pot of Citadel XV-88.
Result is this chap:

Just washed and re-highlighted. After a coat of matt varnish it looks rather convincing..
The paint has literally just dried and I've missed breakfast. So please accept it as No 64?

Cheers

Most farmers in those days would still bring in there crops till end of September. Hint Harvest moon
By then the Hun was on there way and the farmers would not waste time ploughing fields near the front line :D

Mud or not, I think he's done a crakcing job on them - as has Helen.

Maybe we should draw a line under this one and limit ourselves to encouraging people to keep producing lovely toys  :D

Thanks very much to you all for your kindest remarks.

It's amazing what the eyes don't see, but the camera does. I've ordered a stronger magnifying lens.

All the best,

Helen

Lots of cool entries, and quite a few groups/vignettes  :o

I hope to finish the base of my meager contribution tomorrow afternoon (took me long enough), as I just textured it today, so I should manage to slip it in before Versailles after all.  :)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!
