As far as Albert I goes, I think rather than reserve the 100 slot for him at this late hour, we'll allow him as an extra "epilogue" figure to round things off, if Kane wants to paint him. Don't want someone missing out on the club and getting annoyed because one slot had been taken away at such late notice.

Thanks Dylan.
Best wishes,
Helen

Number 75 - Regimental Headquarters, 12th (Lithuanian) Uhlans, Litthauisches Uhlanen Regiment Nr. 12:

I think that the GWM horses make a good match for the Trakehers favoured by Prussian cavalry units :-)

Nice work Janner. Just received my first packs of these. Like the idea of single castings with separate right arm with the lance.

How many do you intend having in your collection?

All the best,

Helen

Much depends on whether GWMs plan on releasing Mounted Jägers at some point, but at present, I'm aiming for a squadron of six castings to go with the Infantry Brigade and a regiment of twelve to go in the Cavalry Brigade. I'd rather that GWM sold the mounted jägers than face filing away all that detail on the Uhlan uniforms for the second regiment in the brigade though!

I'm planning to have dismounted figures to go with the Uhlan Regiment, but none for the squadron attached to the brigade.

I'm hoping (hint, hint) that the dismounted Uhlan MG crew (as well as the MG carriage) will also be released sooner rather than later  ;)

Thank you Janner, sounds great. I would welcome in a different thread a photo of a mounted Jager if at all possible. I'd like to keep this clear for lovely painted miniatures. :-)

All the best,

Helen

Goodness that is small vcina, I do hope to see them join the club when finished and based.

I don't know how people paint such small figures. My ham fisted attempts would look more like an artist's smock. lol lol

Cheers
Matt

Nice to see the smaller scale adding their weight to their larger scale cousins.

Great War Miniatures, from my embryonic WW1 collection. Nice figures to paint up.
