Odd, when I tried that it gave me time out errors.  Thanks for posting it for me.

No.  Is Photobucket easy to use?

I find it so.  You can just drag and drop images from your desktop to your PB album - it then generates an image code that you can copy and paste here.
Back from the dead, almost.

In my experience, yes, and I'm a technofuckwit!

Nice.

Rules state one figure only, mind you. It does not seem to be enforced at all in this round of painting club though.

I don't see the point of debating figure group on vignette base vs figure group on singular bases, as long as there is a coherent theme  :)
I am simply glad to be offered painting incentives

I suppose people are very welcome to show off their figures on the regular board too?

There are no rules to amount and state there...

I dont know what the incentive behind the rule is. But does it make sense to ignore it, just to ignore it?

 lol
sorry, I can't answer that question  :D
ignoring rules is part of my assets  ;)
and I despise obeying rules for the sake of rules....
I personally find the "underregulated" way it was run here quite appealing, and most of all, expedient. Which is the point of rules (IMHO), but I find it also acceptable that there might be other oppinions...

I could actually argue for posting singular miniature groups instead of them occupying singular entry slots, it gives more people the opportunity to post their work. With rules "obeyed", this club would have been long ago over.
I understand the idea is to have them all in one thread, so they can be compared and found more easily.

OK, you win the debate on account of life being too short.  ;D

Well, I did notice the rule and then realised it wasn't being applied. So I cracked on and followed the precedent of treating each vignette as a single entry so as not to skew things  ;D

Very true  :)

But, please remember the 'rule' is there because the intention of the original painting club concept was for a shared community project of 100 INDIVIDUAL miniatures, with up to one miniature per contributor per day, until 100 miniatures are achieved. The end. Seems easy and uncontroversial enough.
Presumably the reason most people don't stick to the rules, is because they haven't bothered to go to the front of the thread and read them.

Had people kept to the rules and posted one figure per day, rather than posting two, three, five at a time, we would have comfortably finished the club by now, and been able to move onto another one. Instead of which, it is limping oh-so-slowly home, and has almost fizzled out.
Pity.

I suspect before we run any further painting clubs, we will be revisiting the rules.

A grand job Janner you are undertaking too in addition to Tim. I hope to offer a small contribution tomorrow.
Best wishes,
Helen
