Having just bought the Gloranthan Guide (currently reading the PDF) I thought I should get my Gloranthan project under way again and I will use the  Army Painter challenge to keep me motivated.
I painted up a few bits a couple of years ago for one of LPL's and my painting apart from the odd figure has pretty much stalled.
I plan to paint up several skirmish forces initially for a Mordheim style game in Pavis and The Big Rubble. I hope to develop these into small armies for the Saga rules.
The plan using figures I already own is
August
The Heroes, I already have a Beat Pot Aelwrin painted which I am happy with, so will be painting a new Jar-el, Harrek the Beserk, Gunda the Guilty, Griselda, Wolfhead and Hanufa.
I also hope to paint two Fenris Ducks and if  I have time 4 Fenris Morokanth.
September
The Pirates, Harreks Wolf Pirates, currently 6 figures will get a few more to bring up to at least 10 and finish of their ship.
October
Lunar Forces, 10 provincial troops, 4 more Lunar Marines to add to the 6 already painted, and maybe a few others.
After this I have 6 more Fenris Broo to paint (Already painted 5 and the large Rhino Broo) various other creatures inc a Dragon Snail I have started sculpting; various adventurers, scenery and more figures to buy ~ Sartarites, Telmorians, Praxian nomads, more adventurers, a few more Fenris models inc. the forthcoming Trolls, Squidhead Fred....and lots more.
Sorry these are the only pictures I can find to give you a taste of what is to come.
A Rhino Broo

Lunar Marines

not a great photo but I really like Beat Pot at front of boat, but do not like Jar-el (the female) so am replacing.
More photo's to come in next two days once I have finished the conversions for the heroes.

Impressive skin on that rhino, really nice painting!
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Thanks everyone, for your encouragement, it exactly why I love this place. I hope you all keep me on track and nag me for updates (next one hopefully tomorrow night/Saturday Morning, just need to find my camera >:(
The Rhino is a great model, pretty large, i will get a comparison pick for next update. I will take new photos of the models shown on a neutral back ground so you can better see the paint jobs.
I am off for a couple off weeks so I hope to get a good head start so please nag me after Saturday evening for regular updates  ;D

Well I have found my camera and have now taken photo's of everything I have, painted and need to paint. (Some photo's a little blurry will replace these shortly, thought I needed to get a post up here and no more procrastinating)
August:
Heroes: Griselda (Hasslefree (HF), Wolfhead (minor conversion to RBG figure) and Hanufa (HF)

Harrek the Beserk (converted Foundry Ancient German, just need to finish sculpting fur tonight then can be painted), Gunda the Guilty (converted Foundry Valkyrie)

Jar-El the Razoress (converted HF, added new sword blade, breastplate and skirt) Beat-pot Aelwrin (converted Crusader-he was one of figs used as Lunar Marines)

will definitely get bet picture of Beat-pot
These are the Harrek and Jar-El I have rejected

Ducks and Boat (All Fenris with hand carved figure head  :D)

Morokanth and Slaves (Morokanth~Fenris, Slaves~HF, though I intend to get Pulp/Copplestone Cavemen to represent the Human Herd)

September:
Wolf Pirates (humans are Crusader and Foundry, the Troll is a converted Otherworld Orc, only temporary until Fenris releases his Trolls :-* :-*)

Their Ship (Grand Manner)

The Wolfshead (Otherworld)

October:
Lunar Troops (all Crusader except where stated)
The painted Marines (need foliage on their base)

4 more Marines to  paint and 2 Bronze Age Miniatures Amazons, will get some  more to  become  Jor-Els Body Guard (when playing Saga they will become my Hearthguard)

10 Provincial Troops, may paint these as Sun Dome Templars? The Statue is an old Ral Partha Planescape Demon that i will find a use for scenery wise)

Other Models to Follow:
Orlanthi (a mix of Crusader, Alternative Armies and Bronze Age, I plan to add to these quite extensively using Foundry Ancient  Germans, Celt-iberians from Crusader and others that I have bookmarked)

Broo (All Fenris, though I plan to add the Runecast ones)
Painted, I like these so much will post two pictures, think I may want to add an extra highlight on the Bison and Big fist Broo)

Still to paint.

Some Broze Age Death Dealers and a Giant, that although I have no particular use for,, I like them so will find an use.

Some ritualistic stones (Fenris and scratchbuilt)

That's all for now, lots more I would like to buy but need to gets lot painted first. :D
