The Army Painter Quickshade

Have any of you applied The Army Painter’s quickshade dip to figures painted with Humbrol enamels?  What were your experiences?

I've  used acrylic artist's ink, GW's old inks and GW washes over Humbrol enamels in the past, and they all worked just fine.

One GW shopdrone did try to tell me their inks would bead up and run off enamel paints, though. Thankfully but unsurprisingly, he was dead wrong.

I actually just retired my last active tin of Humbrols to the big paint rack in the sky, as I finally got around to buying Reaper's metallic gold triad of paints. Nice not to have to keep thinners around on the painting bench anymore.

Sounds familiar.  Had one press me when I purchased their whole line of inks.  He was amazed that I purchased them without a project, much less a GW project.

For the enamels, do what I do.  Test it out.  I have an old Ral Partha figure that has tones of paint on it because it is what I test either techniques or paint combinations.  I just keep stripping the lead when I need a new pallet.
