Hot Fuzzy Alley
« Reply #46 on: 15 April 2015, 11:20:23 AM »
On Monday we used Pulp Alley to put on a game based on Hot Fuzz

Angel, and his sidekick Danny investigate the disappearance of a young girl, spotted by the Neighbourhood Watch Committee dating a motorcyclist from the next village.

After much action, this is the closing scene... a shootout in the Netty...

Full after action report available on our Pulp Alley hobby pages, link below.

This is the mini we used for Danny.

Glad you liked the report, Hott Fuzz was another fantastic Pulp Alley game, and has inspired 3 new gamers at the club to take it up.

We have started working on some French Resistance & German Army leagues for a bit of WW2 Pulp Adventure set in this Normandy style terrain that we are working on.

This is a new idea, so interested to see if it's popular.

We have just added a Pulp Alley Character Card pack that matches the miniatures in a Pulp Miniatures set, (Rugged Sons of the Empire).

The character cards can be downloaded from http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Hobby-Pages/Pulp-Alley-28mm-Pulp-Adventure-Gaming/Pulp-Alley-Free-Character-Card-Directory

If the idea is popular we will try to add a set a week to our free download area. We stock Pulp Miniatures, Thrilling Tales, Copplestone and I have lots of these packs painted up already so their is a lot of potential!

Looks good. I think it's a great idea, though I am not sure how much use I'd get from it. It's very interresting to me to see how other people stat up their Leagues, but I prefer making up my own stats for my own games.

Still, the cards definitely look great. :)

I know what you mean, but I do find it handy to have a card box full of standard cards for those times when some gamers drop by and you want to put together a game, or when I take Pulp Alley along to the local club. At these times it's useful to be able to hand out a deck of character cards and say choose a league from these. Also useful for when you roll some back up as a pre-scenario event.

Hi Chris,
Your games are truly mouthwatering to behold. Though I love each, I especially like the Pulp themed (as opposed to modern era) settings. Do you happen to know who makes those African idols you use in the December postings at the end of page 3? They are wonderfully atmospheric. Keep up the great work and the sharing!

Hi Daryl,

I think the African Idols are from Monolith.
We played the Forbidden City game from Perilous Island campaign last weekend...I have the photos, just need a spare hour to write it up!

Definitely. :)
Though I have not yet had a game (miniatures aren't yet painted up, but it's scheduled for next thursday), Pulp Alley is one of those systems I might bring to conventions at some point, so I have been thinking along those same lines.

I'll propably still just make up my own cards and get them printed, but it definitely is nice to have a ressource of profiles available.
I guess what I am saying is keep up the good work  lol This is a nice thread, with a lot of nice things to look at.
