Again, you have the unique possibility to combine tent camping in beautiful surroundings with a weekend of absolute wargaming mayhem.  

For those not inclined to sleeping in a tent, the nearby town of Ringe (less than 10 min. away by train or car) offers a hostel with both cabins and 'normal' hostel rooms.

I provide minis, tables, and rules for everybody to be able to game all through the weekend (and I have a selection of board games to pass time, should all the games be in use), and you're encouraged to bring games you'd like to present to others, too. Attic Attack is all about creating a great time and atmosphere for everybody present.

There's a bar with fridge, toaster, and water boiler, and snacks and hot/cold drinks can be purchased on site at reasonable prices, or you can take a 5-min. walk to the supermarket and/or fast-food store to get drinks/snacks/food.

If you bring your family, the beautiful renaissance water castle of Egeskov is only 2 km. away, offering both indoor and outdoor entertainment:

And both Svendborg, Odense (within ½ hr drive by train or car) and Nyborg (1 hr away by bus or car) all offer sights and shopping for everybody.

The event is held in my garage attic (about 80 sq.m of floor space, of which some is occupied by big boxes containing gaming stuff and books), and the tent camping can be done in my back garden on a lawn among big trees, and with a small creek running by. I provide a toilet with sink and hot/cold water (and if anybody feels as smelling like a wilderbeast, I think our bathroom with shower can be negotiated).

And there's the possibility to prepare food on the BBQ and/or over an open campfire (I have the necessary equipment).

Try "the ocean". I would camp! I have a tent! But I can't swim that far.

I'm very well aware that a lot of LAFfers are living too far away from Denmark to 'pop over' for a single weekend. 

But then you may have my humble abode in mind if you ever go on a holiday around here - Argonor's Attic should be available for gaming all around the year, as soon as I have the chimney restored and put up a stove for firewood.
