Female pilot figure needed
« on: 15 August 2014, 10:41:09 PM »
I have one pilot figures from Reaper but it is a male:  https://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/pilot/latest/50158 which I suppose I could modify.

What I am looking for is a figure to represent http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_Airforce_Service_Pilots as a superhero - before anyone complains I think WW2 enthusiasts would be more knowledgeable in this subject than Superhero gamers - in 28/25 mm and 15/18 mm sizes...

Suggestions on forum or PM accepted gladly.

Gracias,

Glenn

Try the bob murch range of pulp figures
OK, one last time. These are small... but the ones out there are far away. Small... far away... ah forget it!

Awesome.

Equally awesome.

Now, what do I do about the figures I don't want in the sets?

http://pulpfigures.com/products/view/36  I think Cassandra Van Pelt might work also.

These look good.

Must not rush to judgment... buying...

Any others?

Gracias,

Glenn

Bombshell minis does two different ww2 female pilots that are just Hot!
They are pricey but excellent sculpts in useful gaming poses.

I'm on the phone now or I'd post the links.

thx for bringing Bombshell minis to my attention - I recognize the Reaper style and the sculpts are really great, but

WOW! where is this "premium product"  train going? who pays 10 bucks for a simple miniature? apart from GW nuts of course (I know this discussion belongs somewhere else).
seriously, this trend is starting to test the limits....

back to OT

the second type is clearly WW2 to me, but I am a bit puzzled about the first outfit:  is it 40-50ies or later?

btw: who sells those in Europe?

Artizan Designs have several possible figures in their 'Thrilling Tales' range. Available as single figures at £2.20 each I think?

:) That's it ,you've made my mind up for me.I've been toying with idea of making some plup /BoB figures. After the Robert E Fulton jr.I made for fun went down so well .Then there's room for my take on the subject.

$10 for a mini? If it's just one, and it's the right one, why not?

That first mini? Outstanding. Great sculpt!
