They sell those, yes. They have their own range coming out too. There are a couple of greens on their Yahoo group.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Sorry to ask this again, but I cannot find the old thread; What colour did you say you used for the dark red? I think it was a Vallejo, but which one?

I found the post. http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=4605.15

"How do you achieve that very dark, almost black red??? It's really nice for horror/gothic style and the likes!!

I'm glad you like it. As for the painting colors, I think it looks like black red cause I use Vallejo Model Color #859 Black red Smiley. Well I use that as the base color. But from there I add additional layers to make the highlights a lighter version of that. I do not have access to my painting notebook to give you exactly what I use. But if my memory serves me correctly I mix VMC Black Red and VGC (Vallejo Game Color) Gory Red Something like 1:2. Then 1:4 and finally the 1:4 mix with a bit of VMC Flat Red for the final highlight."

Great, thanks!!  :) I'll have to order that from somewhere (my local gameshops do not carry VMC as they think they're too close to Citadel's range.. or something  :(  )

I am using two of Vallejo's paint ranges. You may know the difference, but in case you do not. Vallejo Model Color is the military line. More muted colors, colors to match military uniforms, different paint consistency. Vallejo Game Color which is somewhat of a clone of GW's line of paints. I do not like the Vallejo Game Color line that much, the consistency is different than the Vallejo Model Color paints, but they do have some useful colors in it.

Yes, know the difference - and found a hobby store yesterday carrying the model colours, but could not find any designated black red - now I made a note of the number and will go looking again  :)

Reaper Miniatures have several in the Dark Legends line.
Heresy miniatures has one.
What don't you like about the Westwind ones?

Yes, the Gothic Horror ones are much better than the road kill stuff. The Loup Garou is huge, much bigger than the ordinary ones, but a ferocious beastie none the less :)
