New VBCW Pin/Casualty Markers
« on: September 06, 2014, 09:07:03 AM »
There's a chap across the pond who makes rather nice pin markers for Bolt Action, small and rectangular with a numbered wheel at the end marked 1-10. Each one has your chosen forces national flag or military branches symbol and they are only $1.25 each (he does a blanket $7 postage to over here no matter how many you order).

He is also happy to do custom ones with faction symbols for the same price so I have been talking to him about VBCW which has ended up with him producing six different VBCW faction ones using (with his permission) Pete's symbols he did for Doug's dice-

Although designed for games of Bolt Action they are great for any set of rules where you need to keep any kind of numbered tally for units... :)

Could I ask where you're sourcing these from? I've been thinking about dials of some sort for Shock markers in Through the Mud & the Blood (and other general uses) but wouldn't need artwork on 'em. The price you've found is one heck of a lot more affordable than Litko and some of the other options I've seen.

Plus I'm on the North American side of "the pond" and it seems to make more sense to order from this side of it!

(not trying to cut Mick out of the loop or anything, just can't see the point in wasting rather nice VBCW graphics when I'll either cover the dials in scenery material or put my own logos over them anyway!)

Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

Having done a bit of searching, are you using "The Dial Dude" - http://dialdude.ca/Orders.php - for your VBCW units?

Are the bodies and dials of these card or plastic?

I'm not making the dials, I'm one of his customers...
