Sometimes I think a gamer becomes as much a state of mind as an activity. Kind of like Rincewind being a wizard in his blood and bone, no matter how incompetent he might have been.

Great to see all the figures in action. A fine looking spread.

... of like Rincewind being a wizard in his blood and bone, no matter how incompetent he might have been. ...

Hmmm, I certainly lack some competences  :D

Thanks Garanhir !

Thanks, Hupp!

I have been busy again last weekend kitbashing Gripping Beast Saxons, Perry Footknights and Frostgrave Plastics.

Have a look:

They are bound to be sellswords and other rogues employed on allmost all sides of a war.

As I post these pictures, I see that my eyes have betrayed me again. There are quite some mold lines to be dealt with, still!

Cheers

Some more amazing kitbashing there using a tonne of different kits. Thanks for sharing. I can't help thinking that gripping beast halberdier looks a bit like he has a hula skirt under his chain mail :)

Hi there,
it has been quite quiet for some time here. I have had do lots of things at home having the kid change rooms for comfort. Daddy has to move the furniture and stuff...
Now I've been painting for some days again:

An archer from the bloody mummers:

a northern helbardier:

a chief of the hill tribes:

a hedge knight:

gaoler Rugen:

Septon Meribald:

an unknown wildling brute:

Ser Ilyn Payne

an archer after a bad hit:

a Tully knight:

Some really great conversions!!!

I love the hedge knight and badly hit archer the most, but the Tuly is also really fantastic!!

I usually avoid threads about book or TV themed projects...I'm usually in the dark about such things, but since you were kind enough to comment on my stuff, I figured checking out your works. AND SPLENDID  stuff it is! Your brushwork & especially your kit-bashing are OUTSTANDING! EXCELLENT WORK!

btw: Westeros is first of all book themed...

Thanks a lot to you, too. My personal favourite is the wounded archer as well, the Septon is a Frostgrave figure.
