Good morning world!

I hereby present my next step in Westeros miniatures.
Night guard.

The following figures are made of a mix of Warlord games Celts, Gripping Beast Dark Age Warriors and Gripping Beast Saxon Thegns using Fireforge Foot Seargent Bits:







This one has even got a mighty sword from an old Mortheim sprue.






I have built 32 warrios so far, most still have to receice furs around the shoulders.

This one has no cloak and still has to receive the fur collar but I managed to give him the round medaillon that is to hold the seven pointed star instead of the christian cross it had before.

around the holidays I have got these Rackham Kelt Sons of Ogimos aut of my never empty drawer.
They will serve as wildling giants.

I agree: LOOKIN' GOOD! The conversions are TERRIFIC...kit bashing & some Green Stuffing are WONDERFUL ways to come up with unique pieces. AND the Big Rackham Rogues look FANTASTIC...GREAT WORK on some SPLENDID if somewhat intimidatingly detailed minis. VERY WELL DONE!

Lovely job on the Night's Watch - well done.

Plastic is such fun, isn't it?

Are you going to get the Perry Agincourt - Orleans box? They lend themselves really well to Westeros...

I really have found my way to plastic figures. A year ago I didn't approve, but now.

Perry box:
I am really tempted, as I have the other Perry boxes still untouched in my hobby room. I will wait and see what my birthday brings and after that look to further expanding my already ridiculously swollen collection.

But first I will paint the remaining 24 of the Night's Guard. With this I will surely stage a fight at Crasters Keep at the local gemes fair in march.

The Night Watch look SPLENDID even though I was anticipating something more Pratchett. The cloaks really make a difference in the minis appearance. GREAT WORK!
