Perry British intervention test model and union troops
« on: 14 September 2014, 12:47:12 PM »
Hi

Ever since the Perry´s announced their British intervention range I wanted to assemble a British and Union force to use with TwoFatLardies Sharp Practice rules. But as so often happen life and other projects gets in the way. But being on maternity leave gave me time to finish a test model of a British private from the 10th regiment of foot. A am very happy with the result. I spent extra attention on the base, which I think was time well spent. I have also posted a few pictures of some Union troops I finished some time ago.

Nice job.  Like you I have a pile of Perry BIF and not one has seen a paintbrush.  In fact, apart from the examples on the Perry BIF page, I have not seen a painted example of unit on the Net anywhere!!

They look great, I am hoping someone picks up a US or Confederate army to justify buying them or Perry expands into later Maori wars to justify the buy ;D

Thanks for the kind replies :)

I actually served five years in the Danish royal guard (the "foot" was droped from the name around 1866) although I am to young to have fought in the Schleswig wars  ;) Would also like to see your unit when completed.
