Raid on Rum Island - A "Fistful of Lead" AAR

A quiet Sunday afternoon exploration of Rum Island ...

Objective - to grab as many barrels of rum and get back to the jolly boats without ending up as fish bait.



The general layout; the rum was hidden in the houses and ruin and was guarded by a solitary guard (who would run away if shot at or engaged in combat !). The overall size is about 1200 x 900mm.



The gentleman pirates from the "Skylark" make their advance ...



And some scurvy scum from the "Black Fox" start raiding at the other end of the island.



The Skylark's crew ask the guard to leave (by shooting at him!).



Whilst the Black Fox crew make for the supply in the ruins,



Flushed with success the Skylarks captain and cabin boy raid another store ...



... and then manage to cut down the captain of the Black Fox ...



... and then turn their attention on the fleeing crew in the ruins.

After six turns, Son of Ramirez (playing the Crew of the Skylark) had managed to relieve the island of 3 barrels of rum and killed the captain of the Black Fox. A sound victory.

What rules did you use?

The Fistful of Lead Wild West rules by Baron Von J (on this forum) with a few minor amendments for pirate action. Their fast, easy to learn and hand to hand is lethal, as my over confident sea captain found out.
