Upcoming Brigade Games War of 1812 Releases
« on: September 27, 2014, 04:33:02 PM »
Canadian voltigeurs, Canadian militia and some native Americans which can also be pressed into service for the AWI, all sculpted by Paul Hicks. No release date at the moment but they'll most likely be out at some point over the next few months.

Hell yeah, very good.

The other War of 1812 isn't at the moment - having said that I have never had any problems ordering direct from the USA.

I don't mind direct orders in theory, but everything I order seems to get hit by Customs etc, and I'd prefer not to run the gauntlet.

It is hard to make out the detail of the Voltigeurs, however the sedentary militia and Indians are outstanding. The militia with the toques will do nicely for Lower Canada militia. I really do like Paul Hick's sculpts.

As soon as they are on sale I will definitely put in an order.

Thanks for the advance notice.

Dunno if that's on the cards. But you can always e-mail Nick Eyre and ask him if he plans to stock BG products on a larger scale.

Ordering direct from Brigade Games remains the easiest solution, though I understand customs can sometimes be a bit of an issue in the UK.

Lon Weiss is a reliable and efficient trader, though my recent orders seem to have taken forever to ship (four weeks in July, six weeks in August/September, and my latest order, placed on September 20, is still listed as 'in picking' as of tonight). Dunno if it's just me of if others have had to wait too : I've been ordering from BG for about three years and Lon has always been pretty fast when it comes to dispatching items, usually within a few days, so this is somewhat unusual.
