Although the next addition to this project has taken me a little longer to get finished than I had hoped, I do like how these ladies worked out.



The figures are GW Dryads with a few GW Tyranid elements added.  I also added some resin bugs (intended for miniature basing) to various parts of the model, the idea being that they represent some sort of symbiotic/parasitic technology substitute, like Sectaurs.  Importantly it also conceptually ties these models in with the Hasslefree Sleiti/Ieuan model that has been the main project catalyst.

Concept, conversion, painting - all wonderful. Is it just me, or in the last year or two have you been developing a higher contrast style (I mean more contrast in the highlighting/shading)? I only ask because these models in particular really "pop" - and there's a richness of colour too, which makes them very easy to look at. Superb work, in any case.

Very nice work on those. The conversions work really well. I had completely forgotten about sectaurs. I still have one of those toys lying around somewhere I think.
