I'm curious what your using these guys as? Blades or warbands?

They are intended for Hott, so they'll be warband. If I should live long enough, however, and manage to paint enough for a DBM sized army, they will be Bd(f) - blade fast. I think fast moving blade seem appropriate for Cimmerians.

What size bases did you use? 20x40mm?

Correct.
40 x 20mm bases are standard DBx sizes bases for 15mm warband and fast blade(3 figures per base).

SPLENDID WORK! The thing I like best about HotT is the basing; i.e., you get an opportunity to make each base a little vignette. It's good to see you made the most of the opportunity. That is an EXCELLENT narrative creation.
