A Grave Subject
« on: October 01, 2014, 05:45:45 PM »
The lovely 'Cthulhu Mythos Gravestones' from Fenris Games... As 28m headstones go, these are a little bit small, but they are richly detailed.

I was surprised to find a bag of these in my bits-box. I imagined I had gathered up all the relevant bits'n'bobs for my graveyard project earlier in the year.

So I was quite happy to have a chance to apply the lessons learned to these fine resin pieces.

The headstones are grouped quite closely toghether onto mini-CD's, 3" (76mm) in diameter. There is still plenty of room to place a mini, based on a penny or a nickel (19mm to 21mm), in and around the stones, but these areas definitely represent obstructions or difficult ground.

At 3" these might be too small for Scenes of Horror, but will still serve for any scenario requiring graves to be cleansed or as a spawning points for ghosts, spirits, zombies and ghouls.

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Also love these, they are quite small but I found, that when sprinked among a bunch of the plastic Renedra jobs, they look great, their weirdness really popping out.

I agree, these would be great alongside any of the other fine tombstone offerings out there right now. These round groupings really compliment the single graves I made using the Uncle Mike's Worldwide headstones / grave markers.

Just can't resist adding tufts to my bases.  ;D

Well, at least we know those cultists take care of their markers... a bit like the NWO in Hot Fuzz :)
