US Jeep and more MaK's
« on: August 24, 2008, 04:04:19 PM »
This weekends efforts see the completion of the two MaK's I started last weekend and a Willys jeep with crew.
The jeep is a repainted corgi (suitably weathered as per Pappa's instructions ;)).The driver is from BAM, the passengers are from Brigade Games/Company B.

Two more Ma.K's repainted for US service:

And a group shot of the five so far, with Sgt. Rock for scale.

I'm planning to paint at least 5 more and am thinking of doing a red, white and blue version piloted by Captain America. ;D

That would be cool, but Cap wouldn't need one!
Remember, he drops out of airplanes without a chute!

You could do a set for all the "Invaders". (I think that's what they were called)

I'm going for "looking cool" over practical neccessity.  ;)
And he's not bulletproof, so it makes kinda sense that he'd be leading a squad of these when facing larger mechs on the enemy's side. The added firepower would be welcome as well then.

More excellent work there WK!

The reapint on that jeep looks superb, very beaten and battle-worn.

The Jeep does look very cool.

I'd love to see the Red-White-Blue power armour for Captain America.  :)

Thanks guys!

The jeep is a complete repaint, as I wanted the dark green to match the Ma.K's. Even the decals have been painted over with an off-white.

I'd love to see the Red-White-Blue power armour for Captain America.  :)

I'm hoping to start on it this weekend.
