Aztec Oracle or Priestess by Dave Soderquist

I think this would make a great NPC such as an Oracle or Priestess. Dave always does great faces but the headress and dagger came out great as well.

I wish there were a small range of Aztec Amazons sculpted by Soderquist to make a MOrdheim band with them...

She is a BEAUTY with a lot of potential. I have to follow the Bronze Age site more closely

That is a SPLENDID idea. I painted up his Barbarian Babes with the Mordheim Amazons in mind, but an Incan/Aztec range would be FANTASTIC.

Dragonrune made a superb set of female Amazons/Incas/Myan types, after they stopped trading they then went to Cavalcade Games who likewise stopped trading a few years ago.  They reappeared on a kickstarter that I saw on this site a few weeks ago with promises of expanding the range.

Well you just tapped your ruby slippers three times my friend. I am going to expand the Aztec Amazons but had no real plan except for a horde of wild looking, blow gun puffing, topless chicks in feathers and a loin cloth (which is sometimes all you need).

Do you folks feel Mordhiem is still popular enough to be used as a template to release smaller groups of miniatures??

Hi All,

The Crimson Lizard has generously painted this one up for my Indiegogo in December but ..but...she does such a great job I had to show it off.

I think Mordheim is still a good reclaim. Look for threads of Mordheim in this forum and you will see it is still quite popular. Great news!

I would not worry just about one game, songs of blades and heros lacks good figure groups as well  lol

Pull together a set of figures and folk will add stats for games they play.

The girls of the Axibalan Empire (ex Dragonblood / Calvalcade wargames, now Antimatter Games as part of the Shadowsea range)

Some of  Freebooter Amazons also have a 'Mesoamerican' look.

As do (to a lesser degree) some of the Tékumel minis, for instance the Legion of the Sapphire Kirtle.
