Our gaming weekend (part 2, pic heavy)
« on: 26 August 2008, 09:47:42 AM »
We also gave Pig Tickler a go, but played it around 2 am and the lighting was not good enough (nor was our gaming "condition") to take pictures. We were supposed to try out Chain Reaction by Two Hour Wargames using my minis again, so here's a pic of what would have been fielded (Eureka Miniatures' Boiler suited apes - great minis even if all the AK-74 barrels will either arrive broken or break in the first two seconds of handling them):

My Martians were also supposed to be used in something or other, but nobody remembered why I was supposed to bring them along. Oh well, no harm done, and I did manage to take a pic of them too (Black Hat miniatures mounted on 0.05€ coins to give a scale):

In addition to these we gave Mongoose's Victory at Sea a go (nice game, sort of like a lighter version of GW's Battlefleet Gothic), and played a bunch of boardgames (mostly Web of Power and La Guerre des Moutons (sp?)). Great weekend, and lots of fun.

Very nice painting and a beautiful setting. :)

Thanks... had never thought of looking under 18 mm  lol

They can easily be used for Fantastic Worlds opposing 28 mm minis, I think!  :)

Sure, they're not actually in any scale. I've been meaning to use them for both 28mm and 1/72 scale gaming (colonial battles on Mars and such).
