Mark Lowther from Unfeasibly Miniatures sent me one of his camel mounted tuareg which I have to say is a fantastic sculpt mounted on an Ebob camel.  Here he is painted up.  I intend to order a dozen more as soon as Black Hat starts stocking them.

He does look stunning..... I wonder if Unfeasibly will be doing more poses for the Mounted Tuareg's?

Darrell.

He looks great Gary. :)

Thanks

That is a very laid back pose for a fella on a camel.
What's his name: Mustapha Restt?
 ;)

Nice work.
Like it!

Mustapha Restt  lol lol  I'll have to add him to the roster.  I know which side you will be on at BLAM.  ;)

Apparently there will be 4 poses of camel mounted tuareg.  I am just waiting for them to appear on Black Hat Miniatures' web store to place an order for another 10.

After a couple of months where work and real life got in the way I have kicked this project back into life.

After a hard month of patrolling what better way for a thirsty legionnaire to spend some off duty time than in the Café Zig Zag.

The café owner and his staff offer a warm welcome to the brave legionnaires, provide them with all the comforts from home.

The café owner, Monsieur Citroen, tells everyone that he is from Toulon, but in reality he is from the Levant. An Artizan figure 'Signor Ferrari' with a fez kindly added by Mamalute.

His head bartender, Emile, has been with M. Citroen for many years and is said to know all his secrets.

The Café Zig Zag doubles as a cinema on the rare occasion that a film makes its way across the desert by camel train.

The legionnaires 'other' requirements are taken care of by Cork Tip and her dancers.  She ensures that the legionnaires don't overstay their welcome.

Thanks. It needs a little more work. I intend to add some chairs to go with the tables inside the courtyard and some more vegetation around the outside.

Great looking cafe. The staff are inspired.  :D

Inspired by a combination of Follow that Camel, a little pulp and of course Casablanca.  ;)

Whatever day I am asked to - or when it suits the committee!!  lol lol
