Top work here!!

I like everything, it is so...   ...camelicious!!

Might I suggest adding a donkey or two to your taxi stand?  &/or a donkey cart?
Both oughta be common enough in your locale.

These images are from all over the Mediterranean, little difference further inland.

I've plans to convert my Bob Murch rickshaw to a donkey cart, it'll see more use.

Keep up the great work, more grand ideas for me to steal!!

Thanks for the fez and glad you like the 'taxi'.

I was going to use a earlier Ronald Colman poster but the Gary Cooper version was so much better!!  :D

I have had these buildings sitting around for a while so I thought I would finish them off.  They are the start of my Kasbah.

I added in a few additional market stalls.

And there is the genesis of my Kasbah.

I still need to paint up the market stall holders and the shoppers plus a sprinkling of goats and camels but hopefully you get the gist of it.

Thanks for looking.

Whoa!
Never ask a man where he gets his striped cloth from.
You may regret asking that.

Great stuff, and snazzy looking awnings, a very upmarket kazbah from the looks of it.

A gentleman never reveals the name of his tailor.  :-X

But since I'm no gentleman, I'll tell you.  ;)
The very stripey cloth I got it as an offcut at a haberdashery store.  The blue and white cloth is from one of my children's old school shirts.   :)

Thanks for the comments.

OK, not a question about the cloth!!  :D

Rather, what did you use a bases for your buildings? MDF or Plasticard?

Or, none of the above?

Darrell.

They are supplied by PMC who used to sell only through E-Bay but are now marketed by Caliver Books.  They are hardboard/MDF based covered in textured/sanded putty. I added the bases and re-painted them.

By chance I have some for sale.  See this thread if you are interested. http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=77242.0

Thanks matey. Is it 2mm MDF?

I ask as I'm going to make my own for my Sudan and NWF projects as they should be easy enough to construct.
