Very fine painting.  I particularly like the Dutch.  I see your are planning to use a Warhammer pistolier as a Reiter/Dutch Cuirassier (I have a few for that purpose too).

I really like these. I've never understood why the Dutch Revolt isn't more popular with manufacturers. The only range designed specifically for it I'm aware of in 25mm / 28mm is the old Essex range from the early 1980s. I'm not sure who the sculptor was. Someone once told me it was a young Mark Copplestone but I've seen on the web someone say it was Aly Morrison.

I think the Foundry Swashbucklers are great figures. I'd have used them myself but sadly they're just too tall to fit in with the other figures I'm using.

I'm utterly frazzled due to the recent arrival of a Whiskey miniature (he's 3 weeks tomorrow and s determined to make sure there isn't a minute in the day that he isn't feeding!) however I have scrabbled enough time to finish off the Spanish Arquebusier Company.

Thats the two main units of Spanish i need initial for the planned Donnybrook game. I still need to do a unit of mounted arquebus, a mounted commander and a couple of 'gentleman of the tercio' to complete the spanish force but I should do another dutch unit first. Here's another shot of the company with some of the 4ground buildings I've also managed to build.

and a little present in the post this morning. Some of the citadel estalian swordsmen. There will be a little bit of head swapping but they'll probably end up being part of a sword and buckler unit in the future.

Excellent work. I would love to get some of the old Estalian figures but they are sadly just too expensive now.
