Tsuba WW1 Plastic Project
« on: 09 November 2014, 07:05:44 PM »
Whilst carrying on with their Russo-Japanese War range Tsuba Miniatures are also about to branch out into WW1 plastics, the first set being early war German infantry sculpted by Steve May. The plan is to produce figures that are compatible in both size and style with Paul Hicks' Mutton Chop metal sculpts. No release date yet as the greens are not even in tooling yet, and it will probably be a while before the figures are ready for a commercial release :

I find it amazing how 'natural' these look in comparison to the Victrix renders.

My thoughts exactly. These look absolutely great :)
Presumably, some of those other half-sculpted heads will end up in a variety of headgear - pickelhaubes with and without covers, as well as feldmutze...

I think I shall be getting a box of these :)

The beauty that is hand-sculpting, it's the same with games workshop now, the difference between their hand-sculpted stuff and their new CAD designed stuff is immediately apparent.

Ooh Colombia 1932!! :-*
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo
